A little bit of history about the NYTH website (Hormonal Yoga Therapy Reference Center)

The Purpose
NYTH was created with the purpose of preserving the Dinah Rodrigues method of Hormonal Yoga Therapy — to be guardians of its legacy, to honor the creator of the method, the tradition, and ethical values, and to build a network of qualified Hormonal Yoga Therapy Teachers aligned with best practices, committed to tradition, continued study, and the authentic and genuine transmission of the method.

Isn’t it a privilege to receive teachings directly from the source?
Does it awaken a sense of responsibility? A call to be GUARDIANS OF MEMORY? A commitment to TRADITION?
The word “tradition” is common in the world of yoga.
The word “tradition” means “To deliver,” “To pass on.”
Tradition is not only about the past; it is also about continuity in development — keeping a teaching alive, in its most genuine form.

The image featured in this blog post is highly symbolic. It represents the care with which we receive and pass on the teaching we’ve received directly from the source — Dinah Rodrigues.
It is “A TREASURE THAT MUST BE PRESERVED.”

And to be guardians of memory…
We must know the story… remember the whole process.
When we recover a story or memory, we are touched by a feeling that nourishes the need to know about ourselves, the past, the present, and the future.
It brings comfort, trust, and meaning because it brings the experience of belonging.
We discover values and renew bonds.
We understand that we are part of it — part of this story.
NYTH is a platform that invites you to be part of building that story.
When we build a story within ourselves, we make it our own — and perhaps the feeling of care arises.

The Trio – Márcia, Margit, Mônica
In a conversation with Mônica and Margit, I shared the idea of gathering teachers to strengthen best practices, and for that, I proposed the creation of a collective website.
They embraced the idea, as they too recognized the need.
Since December 2020, we have met every Monday to work on the creation, development, and maintenance of the website.
The site was named NYTH – Reference Center for Hormonal Yoga Therapy.
Dinah Rodrigues loved and supported our project.
We hired a professional web development team to bring the idea to life.
It has been a wonderful process.

On March 19, 2022, we held the first presentation meeting of the NYTH proposal for Brazilian Hormonal Yoga Therapy Teachers.
It resonated with many, and several joined the movement — we are now partner teachers.
The video of this meeting is posted here on the blog.

On May 31, 2022, we launched NYTH BRASIL – the main website.
We continue together. The Trio is strong — and we’re not stopping here…
