MERCEDES ALIAGA

Ursula Wibel

I am Ursula Wibel, born in 1960, married and mother of 2, one of whom is physically disabled.
I’m a textile business economist. After a longer childcare break, I have been working part-time again since 2001. Due to the multiple burdens of family, disability and work, I found my way back to yoga, which I had already discovered in the late 1970s and practiced for a while. Since the mid-1990s I have been attending yoga classes regularly again.
The yoga classes gave me so much peace, strength and confidence in myself that I really wanted to do the yoga teacher training and pass on this wonderful experience.
Since 2008 I have been working as a yoga teacher with heart and soul in several courses. I teach hatha yoga inspired by flow yoga and the original hormonal yoga of Dinah Rodrigues.
My teaching style is shaped and inspired by many great teachers. Precise instructions, flowing elements, cordiality and appreciation of the most diverse students are important to me. I want to encourage my students to integrate yoga into their lives, to embrace something new, to accept change in order to create new patterns.

Carla Nataloni

I have been practicing yoga for over thirty years, teaching Hatha Yoga for twenty and when I met Master Dinah Rodrigues, I decided to follow her to various parts of the world to receive her teachings. I experienced the great benefits of Hormone Yoga Therapy on myself and it seemed essential to disseminate this practice as much as possible, in different cities in Italy, placing myself alongside women, listening to their needs” (from the Presentation of the Italian edition, edited by me, of the volume YOGA ORMONALE by Dinah Rodrigues, FABBRI EDITORI). In 2019 I invited Dinah Rodrigues to Italy, to one of the most beautiful art locations in Tuscany, Pietrasanta, where I organized the international HYT training course. Twenty-five teachers out of 300 were selected by reading their CVs and evaluating their experience. Immersed in the square crowded with onlookers, in Pietrasanta, among the contemporary art sculptures of Pablo Atchugarry, a flash mob took place on International Yoga Day, to make Dinah Rodrigues and her method more and more known. On this occasion there was the presentation of the book at Mondadori Milano Duomo. I lead workshops in Italy and Europe in English and French on HYT for women, yoga for stress and male hormones and HYT for diabetes. I collaborate with anti-violence centers against women; I teach yoga to diabetic children; chair yoga; Thai massage; I am part of numerous corporate welfare projects, an international research group, I organize residential retreats. I participated as a teacher in the Longevity Yoga Master and in the Longevity in Health Master organized by La Grande Via association founded by Doctor Franco Berrino and Enrica Bortolazzi.

Monika Schostak

I was born in 1953, married, mother of 4 daughters, training and experience in dance, gymnastics, spiritual therapy. 4-year Hatha-Yoga teacher training with Leopoldo Chariarse, Gesellschaft für Geisteswissenschaftliche Fortbildung (GGF) in Düsseldorf, recognized by the Berufsverband der Deutschen Yogalehrer (BDY) and the European Yoga Union (EYU). Further training in Yin-Yoga Stefanie Arend (certified in the method according to Paul Grilley). Training in Thai Yoga Massage with Julia and Pascal Weis (in the tradition of Krishnataki). I myself would not like to miss yoga anymore, as it has accompanied and supported me in difficult life situations and also strengthened me through the yoga philosophy.
In my yoga classes I also want to teach the participants to meet themselves with love and mindfulness, to find the inner place of stillness and to draw new strength from it to meet everyday situations with calmness, serenity and peace.
In 2005 and 2006 I personally completed the training and certification in hormonal yoga therapy (hormone yoga) with Dinah Rodrigues and since then I have been giving regular hormone yoga seminars for women and also men. It gives me great pleasure to accompany and support other women and men with hormonal yoga in their hormonal problems. In my workshops there were also some participants who wanted to have children and became pregnant with hormone yoga..
With the exercise series itself, I have been able to wonderfully alleviate my menopausal symptoms and feel much more energetic in life as a result. I practice this series daily for myself and since 2012 I have created a working group for hormonyoga teachers, which takes place once a year, where we can exchange ideas, practice the series and also invite qualified speakers around the topic of natural hormones and menopause.

Mel Burdett

Mel Burdett’s yoga paths started 40 years ago when she found a yoga book in the attic of her parent’s home. The book described how the regular practice of yoga helped her gaining back her vitality, courage and confidence. Mel was hooked, practiced yoga and became a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher.
In 2012 Mel met Dinah Rodrigues in Vienna was certified by her as a Hormone Yoga Therapist (IYTA). Since then Mel has been teaching Dinah’s HYT method to women in Europe and New Zealand, where Mel now lives and works. Mel offers HYT workshops for individuals and groups.

Cinzia Di Paolantonio

Mi chiamo Cinzia Di Paolantonio e vivo a Genova in Italia.
Contemporaneamente mi sto formando in danzamovimentoterapia espressiva psicodinamica.

Barbara Maggiani

I have started practicing Hatha Yoga since my early 30s when I was working in a stressful multinational environment and Yoga truly helped me to cope with it. However, in my early 40s, my Hatha Yoga practice was not enough to cope with my frenetic lifestyle and my reproductive hormones going thru a roller coaster. After battling with a lot of peri-menopausal symptoms: hot flushes, night sweats, insomnia, migraines and stress, I decided that it was time to change my life and went back to school, as no doctors could provide me a holistic and natural solution.

After becoming a qualified RYT Yoga Alliance certified teacher, a Yoga British Wheel accredited Menopause Yoga teacher and Nutritionist, I was still experiencing some menopausal symptoms. Finally, I discovered by chance Hormone Yoga Therapy by Dinah Rodrigues. At last, I had found a natural, holistic and healthy solution to overcome the symptoms of menopause and rediscover a good quality of life. As I wanted to share my “discovery” with other women, I became a certified therapist of Dinah Rodrigues’ Hormone Yoga Therapy. Since then, I am teaching daily classes of Hormone Yoga, supporting a lot of women in every stage of life.

Marisol Dy Sanchez

“I am a mother of three beautiful children, a trained clinical psychologist, and a Yoga practitioner since 2020. After experiencing burnout that year, Yoga saved me and opened up horizons I had never dreamed of before. Realizing that I am more than just my body and mind inspired me to deepen my understanding of Yoga by completing a 200-hour Yoga teacher training course. It was an intense, heartfelt journey that ultimately led me to seek specialized help for several symptoms I had been experiencing. I entered post-menopause at 41, and my world felt like it was falling apart. Fortunately, I discovered the solution to my problems through Hormonal Yogatherapy using the Dinah Rodrigues method. With my symptoms greatly alleviated, I enrolled in the course to help other women facing similar challenges seeking a natural and holistic solution. Classes are available both online and in-person in Portugal, offered in Portuguese, French, and English.”

MERCEDES ALIAGA

I’m Mercedes Aliaga, a Pilates and Yoga instructor.

I was born in Argentina, but I’ve lived in several other countries including Venezuela, Paraguay, the United States, and Brazil — carrying a little bit of each of these cultures with me.
While living in Brazil, I began experiencing symptoms of perimenopause. In search of natural options to balance my hormones, my Yoga teacher introduced me to Dinah’s method. The practice has brought me numerous benefits: more balanced hormones, osteoporosis turned into osteopenia, healthier skin and hair, increased energy, and improved libido.
After experiencing so much improvement, I decided to share the method with other women. That’s how I introduced Hormonal Yoga Therapy in Argentina, where I taught several workshops in different states — first in person and later online.
After six wonderful years in Brazil, I recently moved to the United States, where I continue teaching classes in Portuguese and Spanish, and soon in English as well.
